Bio
Blair began his career in the entertainment industry with the Showtime cable network, in New York. Starting as a production assistant, he rose to the position of Writer/Producer, eventually ending his tenure there as a promotion and marketing executive. In that capacity, he supervised the daily creative operations and direction of a team of writers and producers and shared responsibility in developing the brand image and marketing of The Movie Channel and Showtime. Relocating to Los Angeles, Blair founded Really Big Pictures, a production company which specialized in creating advertising and promotion campaigns for the television and film industry. Additionally, he has had a successful voiceover career, serving as a spokesperson for leading corporate clients and television networks.
After nearly two decades of experience in the entertainment industry, Blair first became actively engaged in commercial real estate as an investor. Serving as Managing Partner of The Bardin Crossing Group, he spearheaded investment in neighborhood shopping centers in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. There, he worked closely with property management and leasing professionals to formulate a strategy to grow centers into synergized communities; the underlying philosophy being that individual tenants both contributed to, and benefitted by, an orchestrated mix of neighborhood retailers and service providers. Finding the commercial real estate world and “the art of the deal” creatively challenging, Blair has concentrated his professional efforts full time as a retail property specialist, representing both landlords and tenants, in DAUM’s Valencia office.
A graduate of Vassar College, Blair has served as a Board Member of the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, See The Light Africa, and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Santa Clarita Chamber of Commerce.
